With over 150 companies and 40,000 staff, their international network, which began in 1921, now spans Asia-Pacific, India, America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Problem
The internal team at Otsuka lacked the necessary expertise to bring their critical digital technologies to life. Over the course of several years, we collaborated with Otsuka on study, policy, design, and prototyping to enhance clinician-patient contact and assist researchers in doing their work in a better, quicker, and smarter manner.
Result
Our collaboration with Otsuka culminated in the design and prototyping of four different items, each of which addresses a different research target or clinical trial procedure pain point.
Building infrastructure for the healthcare industry comes with its own collection of challenges. To ensure that we could comply with Otsuka’s appropriately stringent legal and data management requirements, we built and maintained robust internal processes. Nonetheless, this continuing relationship demonstrates that our core belief in easy, useful, and beautiful solutions is a winning formula in any industry.
Every Otsuka project is approached as a whole, with each prototype being brought up to market-ready standards, complete with bespoke branding, interface design, and final production.
